A major issue addressed in the Alliance project was signage and wayfinding. Parallax produced and installed acrylic signs with graphics on the first and second surface to build depth and impact. These secure to surfaces with high-end edge grip standoffs.
The signs serve as directional signage for restrooms, halls, studios, elevators, other rooms, etc. Parallax also produced interior ADA compliant signage that keeps their building accessible for all.
A row of storage lockers accompanies the studio area for performers. Parallax used environmentally friendly vinyl printing techniques to take these once bland surfaces and bring vibrancy and energy to this space.
The Alliance Theatre wanted to bring their halls to life by emulating the core of their existence, the experiences made on stage. Parallax produced cut-to-shape graphics made with our paper-based and recyclable EZ-R Weave adhesive wallpaper. These images are dear to The Alliance Theater as they are of actors during memorable performances.
Parallax was also commissioned to create stunning art pieces with fabric that is known for its vibrancy, high-end look and feel, scale, and stunning resolution after printing.
The stunning redecoration at the Alliance Theatre cohesively combines functionality and design for a make-over that pays homage to their rich history that keeps growing.
