The Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) partnered with Delta Air Lines to make memories this holiday season. About 30 of the children from this facility and their families went aboard a Boeing 757 for a flight to the “North Pole.” The children were attended to by Delta employees who volunteered their time to be elves for the day.
The plane landed at the Delta hangar in Salt Lake City, UT, which was transformed to resemble a winter wonderland. A day of fun followed, and these children even had the chance to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus.
For five years, Delta has created a journey where kids can be kids and where families can spend quality time together. This year, Parallax was proud to sponsor an ‘honored hero’ and happily produced signage to fundraise in the community.
Despite everything these kids are going through, we’d like to thank everyone who made this extraordinary experience possible.
